Plainsur S.A. is located in Alcala de Guadaira, province of Andalucia (Spain). The company, one of the most important of it’s industrial sector in Andalucia formulates and distributes chemical products in bulk and in different IBC’s.

With two locations and warehouses in Sevilla and Malaga, Plainsur specializes in Inorganics corrosives, dissolvent, resins, polyester, epoxy, fiberglass, polyurethane, silicone, Kevlar, etc. The manufacturing and logistics processes are 100% under control and supervision of skilled technicians, fulfilling all the requirements of the most demanding customers.

PLAINSUR were using different types of IBCs to distribute their hazardous liquid chemical products. Their fleet included containers of different manufacturers and different types.

Fundamentally blow-molded and metal grid structure IBCs Identified issues and problems in terms of :

MAINTENANCE and ENVIRONEMENT : the manufacturing sites ambiant and the chemical products being very corrosive the metal parts were rusted and difficult to maintain .there was also a potential threat to the environment due to spilling
IMAGE: Plainsur customers were complaining about the aspect of some IBCs rusted and looking weary .
SECURITY and operators safety : the thin blow molded walls and some poor quality valves caused uncontrolled spilling at warehouses and also at their own customers’ .

We proposed the UN / ADR IBC TANKGO® range PLAINSUR uses the 500 litters version for high density products such as 50% sodium hydroxide and 98% sulfuric acid The 1000 litters version is suitable for all other products.
